Future military industry hiring levels increased in August 2022
The proportion of military equipment and technology companies hiring for roles related to the future of work increased significantly in August 2022 compared to the equivalent month last year, with 78.9% of companies included in our analysis recruiting for at least one of these positions.
The latter figure was higher than the 63.2% of companies hiring for jobs related to the future of work a year ago and an increase from the 64.7% figure in July 2022.
In terms of the rate of all job postings related to the future of work, related job postings increased in August 2022 compared to July 2022, with 3.1% of newly posted job postings being related to the subject.
The latter figure represents an increase from the 2.9% of newly announced jobs that were tied to the future of work in the equivalent month a year ago.
