Men’s football welcomes RMU for Saturday night tilt
DAYTON – The Wright State men’s soccer team holds its first contest on Saturday night of the season as the Raiders host Robert Morris in a 7 p.m. kick from the alumni field, where the game is a Green Out, with green shirts distributed to fans entering the alumni field.

The Raiders (3-4-1, 2-1-1 HL) come out of a double draw in overtime Wednesday afternoon against Milwaukee, while Robert Morris (1-8, 1-3 HL) fell at home Wednesday against Oakland. Robert Morris has lost his last five games, however, the Colonials’ only victory came on the road north of Kentucky during Horizon League action earlier this month.
Zion Beaton scored his third goal of the season in Wednesday’s draw, and that mark leads Wright State, while Joe kouadio has a pair of goals. The Raiders have six players with double-digit shots this season, punctuated by 15 attempts from Kouadio, followed by 14 shots each from Beaton, Presten Manthey and Conner Osterholt, while Manthey added three assists at the top of the team.
Robert Morris has only scored five goals this season, one each from five different players. Bryan Akongo leads the attack with nine shots in total, followed by seven shots from Gal Ben Dayan and six attempts by Hugo Kadima. The Colonials threw three different goalies, with the trio recording 32 saves against 15 goals allowed in eight games.
Robert Morris finished the spring with an overall record of 1-6-1, all upcoming games in the Horizon League in his first season as a League member. The Raiders handed the Colonials a 1-0 defeat when they first met as enemies in the Horizon League on March 30 in Pennsylvania.
