Representatives Crenshaw and Cotton launch whistleblower initiative against ‘awakened’ military ideology
Republican Representatives Dan Crenshaw of Texas and Tom Cotton of Arkansas on Friday issued an alert form for members of the military service so that the armed forces do not “fall to wake up ideology.”
The form is available on a new web page on the Crenshaw website, which states that submissions will be shared with the Cotton office.
“Enough is enough. We will not let our military down to wake up ideology,” Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL, said in a Friday tweet. “We have just launched a whistleblower web page where you can submit your story. Your complaint will be protected by law and will be sent to my office and @SenTomCoton. “
Crenshaw added that “with written permission” he and Cotton, a former army captain, “will anonymously post blatant complaints on social media and let the country know what’s going on in our military.”
“For too long, progressive Pentagon staff have called the shots for our fighters, and wireless military commanders have allowed this to happen. Now we are going to denounce you,” he said.

The form notes that whistleblowers take “serious risks” when reporting “allegations of wrongdoing” and recommends that the military “consult an attorney experienced in whistleblower law for further advice.”

Republicans Scramble to Eliminate ‘Awakened’ Political Bias and Cancel Culture in the U.S. Military
Last week, Representative Lisa McClain, R-Mich., Member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), decried cancel culture as “out of control” and told Fox News she supports legislation to ensure that US troops are not brainwashed into a waking culture, which is more intolerant of conservative beliefs and values.
Additionally, Mike Rogers, HASC Ranker, R-Ala., Said in a Press release that “the armed forces of the United States should focus on preparing to face and win any battle against threats posed by China and other foreign adversaries and not impose political beliefs on those who have chosen to serve in uniform . “

The Navy too has been criticized in March, after leaking military training slides on “extremism”, Sailors could not discuss “politically partisan” topics in service, but that it was acceptable to advocate for Black Lives Matter during the service.
The Navy revised its slides after the release of several reports highlighting political bias in the formation of the military branch.
